I know that no review is the perfect substitute for trying something out yourself, but I always like hearing other people’s opinions so that I know what to look out for in a product. In the case of the Tamron, the author mentioned that the zoom ring felt loose to him so when I went in to the store to test the lens, this is one of the areas that I paid special attention to. I had no problems with the zoom ring and it felt sturdy enough to me, which just goes to show that even among the same products quality can often differ. This is not just restricted to third party lenses, as I have noticed similar discrepancies when reading reviews of lenses made by camera manufacturers.

Trying to write Wedding Blogs is sometimes more than just a little trying, not everyone is able to do it. Some people, especially the more boring kind of person just would never be able to come up with all of the really creative stuff you have to come up with when you are writing Wedding Blogs. It takes a special sort of mind to be able to think up all of the stuff you have to make up when you are writing Wedding Blogs. I know I wouldn’t be able to do it and I am sure that if I tried I simply never would be able to do it properly. It makes all the difference to have been born with a creative mind. Attending a wedding is a very good way to start I suppose, if you don’t do that you will most likely be at a complete loss. The next best thing would be to blog about something less exciting than weddings.

Sunday, November 6th, 2011I spend way too much time at way too many parties. It is fun, but in some ways it gets boring after awhile. Like I see a lot of dumb party tricks that people do to try to fit in and be accepted. Most of them fall flat, but knowing how to draw seems to work better than anything else. People do especially well if they can draw other people, and do little caricatures of them. A lot of guys do this to try to pick up girls, and sometimes it does work. What works better, though, is just sitting in a corner with a friend or two and acting aloof and practicing your drawing. This is what the real artists do. They just keep to themselves, but often they are drawing all the people in the room. One of them in particular has a reputation for this. She’s really, really good, and has professional exhibits all the time.

Tuesday, October 25th, 2011Isle of Harris photography is some of my favourite photography in the whole world because it is such a beautiful place.
I have visited the Isle of Harris many times and I always take some photos myself of this beautiful Hebridean island but they are never as good as David Fleet’s work which is absolutely stunning.
I bought some of his prints as presents for my loved ones and they all commented on how beautiful they were, in fact they were so nice I had to buy a couple for myself.
He really seems to capture the beauty of the island so well and I love the colours that he manages to capture as they remind me of the island I love so much, so well.
Harris is my favourite place to visit in the whole of the World that I have seen so far and I have travelled to every continent but I am yet to find anywhere better.

The best way to go about this is simply getting out there and working at as many jobs as possible. If and when you find an audition, it really shouldn’t matter to you if it’s not exactly the job you had always dreamed of, because you are going to get experience that will help you find better work and you could possibly meet someone within the business that is going to help you improve the quality of modeling job you find in the future.
